AiryClick Field Service (FieldFlow) · Last updated September 29, 2026
AiryClick Field Service is an Android app for field technicians who work for service companies (appliance repair, HVAC, plumbing and similar trades). The service company that employs the technician runs a FieldFlow account and decides what data is collected about its jobs, customers and staff; AiryClick provides the software and processes that data on the company's behalf. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and who it is shared with.
Who can use the app
The app is a work tool. It is only for technicians who received a login from their employer, and it is not directed to children. There is no public sign-up.
What the app collects
- Account data — the technician's login, name, contact details and role, created by the employer.
- Precise location — while the technician is signed in and the GPS tracker is on (it can be switched off in More → Settings), the position is sent to the employer about once a minute, and every 30 seconds during a job. With the tracker off, the position is shared only during an active job, from "On my way" until the job is done. A notification is always shown while location is being shared. The app does not collect location in the background when it is not signed in.
- Job records — job status and times, notes, diagnosis, checklists, parts and services used, invoices, and documents generated for the job.
- Photos — pictures of the work taken with the camera or picked from the gallery. The camera is also used to scan barcodes and QR codes; those images are not stored.
- Signatures — the customer's signature with the time, location and device of signing, kept as evidence of the customer's consent, and the technician's own signature, which is placed on job documents.
- Customer information — names, addresses, phone numbers and emails of the service company's customers, shown to the technician so they can do the job.
- Payment information — the amount, method and status of payments taken for a job. Card payments (Tap to Pay) are processed by Stripe: card numbers go directly to Stripe and are never stored by the app or by FieldFlow.
- Device information — a random device identifier created by the app, device model, Android version, app version, battery level (shown to the dispatcher next to the location) and a push-notification token.
The app does not show ads, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not sell personal data.
How the data is used
- to assign, schedule and complete jobs, and to show the technician their work;
- to show the dispatcher where technicians are and to estimate arrival times;
- to produce job reports, invoices and receipts for the service company's customers;
- to take and record payments;
- to send push notifications about new and changed jobs;
- to keep accounts secure: sign-in, sessions and signing out lost devices.
Who the data is shared with
- The employer — the service company that runs the FieldFlow account sees the job data and technician locations described above.
- The service company's customers — they receive their own job documents, invoices and receipts by email or text message.
- Service providers that run parts of the service: Stripe (card payments), PayPal and Venmo (QR payments chosen by the customer), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), OpenFreeMap (map tiles; it sees the device's IP address when the map is shown), and address lookup services (Google or OpenStreetMap Nominatim) used by the server to put job addresses on the map.
- Navigation apps — when the technician taps "Navigate", the job address is handed to Google Maps or Waze, which follow their own privacy policies.
- when required by law.
Security and retention
All traffic between the app and the server is encrypted (HTTPS). The sign-in token is stored encrypted with a key from the Android Keystore, and screens that show payments and signatures block screenshots. Data is kept for as long as the service company keeps its FieldFlow account, or as required for tax and legal records. Data queued on the phone while offline is deleted once it is sent.
Your choices
- Location, camera and notification permissions can be refused or revoked in Android settings.
- The GPS tracker between jobs can be switched off in the app, in More → Settings.
- To see, correct or delete personal data, contact your employer, who controls the account, or write to us at the address below and we will pass the request on.
How to delete your data
Accounts in AiryClick Field Service are created by the technician's employer, so deletion goes through the employer's account:
- Ask your employer (the office or dispatcher) to deactivate your technician account. This signs you out on every device and stops all location sharing.
- If you also want your personal data erased, email dvornichenko.michael@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request", your name, your employer's name and your login. We confirm the request with your employer and reply within 30 days.
- On the phone itself, "Sign out" in More removes the jobs, photos and settings stored by the app; uninstalling the app removes everything it kept on the device.
What is deleted: your account details, location history, device records and push-notification tokens, and your saved signature.
What is kept: job records, invoices, payment records and the documents signed by customers (including the name of the technician who did the work) stay with the service company, because it has to keep them for tax, warranty and legal purposes — usually up to 7 years. Location history is deleted with the account.
